Fee Structure
Research is undertaken at an hourly rate, which is negotiable, depending on the requirements of the client, the range and location of sources and the nature of the research to be undertaken. Once a brief has been agreed with a potential client, a quotation will be supplied before the work is undertaken.
Family history research can take many hours, and travel time and expenses must also be taken into account. Documents will need to be ordered from the Government Registration Office and other archives, and these will be charged for, at cost, to the client. The final report will be presented in a folder including all certificates and other materials gathered along with footnotes, putting the research into its wider historical context and explaining abbreviations and acronyms.
Payment may be made by cheque, payable to Elizabeth Mills; by BACS (contact us for bank account details); or by credit card via Paypal (a 5% processing charge will be added)
